Ok. Sorry for this rant but I hate bench racers. I went to go help my friend out moving some furniture in with her roomate. Her roomate is a guy with a MazdaSpeed 3 wagon. He has mods done to it and everything. I have an '02 Mustang GT with just really minor bolt-ons. Anyways I go for a cruise with this one girl and someone else. He asks if I wanted to try going somewhere and make a quick run. Alright he beats me whatever. I know no street racing. This is besides the point. Anyways I knew my car was slow, I had about 1k lbs on him. So when we get back to the place he asks what my other car is. I'm like a camaro with a 350 (built). Said it goes 11.60s. So then he asks what I think his goes. I'm like low 13s if you get traction. He's like actually no it goes 11s right now without tune. I'm like that's hard to believe. Hes like a lot of people do. I'm like ok whatever, and then he tries to keep telling me it does without actually ever going to the track. So next year I plan on going to a friday night at Maple Grove somewhere and shutting him up with my camaro which I'm sure he will still think he can take.

Basically the point of this thread is that I'm sick of people saying what their car actually goes without knowing what it really does. Just because you have certain mods doesn't mean it'll actually go that compared to what other people have done.
