These were taken at the Conowingo dam on route 1 where it crosses the Suquehanna river in MD. I'll be there tomorrow morning as well. Eagles are there in great numbers and should remain that way until mid to late February. If you want to take a ride to photograph them, you'll need at least 200mm. But, to get close, a 300 or 400mm with a TC would be better.
There is a bit of noise, but I missed the exposure a bit on the first 2 shots and had to bump it up in processing. I'll be going to the dam quite a bit this season and I'll be sure to post some more, especially after I get my 500/4.
