a friend had a similar problem on his 09' lancer... just a few months old and he noticed a rust spot on the roof.
he took it in and they told him it wasn't their problem, he was very persistent but got zero help.
he contacted their traveling paint/ paintless dent guy and he was kind enough to take care of that spot for next to nothing, but the dealership themselves sucked for support.
