1G DSM flywheel FWD/AWD
Just thought I'd remind the DSM guys on this board that when purchasing an aftermarket flywheel make sure to specify if the vehicle is FWD or AWD.I made the mistake of assuming my sales person knew what platform I had and well.....he should have to be honest because he is good friends with the previous owner of the car and.....yeah.Anyway,I took the trans out the other night expecting to have the new clutch/flywheel installed in about an hour but to my surprise the flywheel was for a FWD.Grrrrrrrrr!!!!
So now what should have been a very quick swap is turning into a week long event.I'm so pissed I'm ready to just throw the old setup back in and be done with it till next spring.I should have checked ahead of time but when you work 70hrs+ a week you tend to be in zombie mode when you are at home.Well,anyway I just thought maybe I could save someone the headache
I just went through.Even though it's my own dumb-ass fault!!!!
