Breed specific rescues usually work with mostly fosters.. so there's no risk of being euthanized if they can't find a home right away. People will usually take them into their own homes and house them until an adopter comes along. But if you can place them without using a shelter that's great too. Just make sure your friend is POSITIVE that they're a great home and he should pay for him to be neutered before he places him to prevent back yard breeders from getting their hands on potential breeding stock. Some shelters offer really cheap prices for a neutering.

Alot of positive people on there and you probably could find a home. If I had my own home I would take him to play with my other pitty. But yes, make sure whoever takes him makes sure not to be negative in training, always positive no matter what.
