Well, what isnt stock about it? What aftermarket things are put on it?
If there is nothing done to the transmission (i.e. never removed or has aftermarket gears) then the solenoid issue should be covered under warranty.
If the headgaskets are blown and its still the stock turbo on the truck, that should also be a warranty repair. (Unless it is part of a scheduled maintenance that wasnt performed) Which is another thing, if the car doesnt have a good track record of getting serviced at dealerships/shops (Interval services/oil changes and what not) then itll be more difficult to get a warranty claim.
I can ask the diesel tech tomorrow what he thinks and get back to you. He is a younger guy but knows his ****, havent had any issues with customer vehicles hes worked on since he has started there.
Just let me know whats done to the truck as well so i can run it by him and let you know what will be cheapest/worth your time
