For those who are interested, check your local tech schools for night classes. I went last year at Upper Bucks Tech School. The class was ~$300. Well worth the investment. Most of the class focused on stick welding, which is now my preferred method on anything other than sheet metal. For a few hundred $$ more, you can proceed to the certification class...if you qualify. I am going for certification next fall.
