Thanks! We ran 21 races this year. It was a LONG season! lol. My stats were 21 races: 6 wins, 17 top 5's, 18 top 10's. Would have had more top 5's but had 2 DNF's that would have been top 5's, was once puposley spun out with a few laps to go, and was spun out last lap last turn while leading. lol. Yeah, it was a long and what seemed to be a never ending season.

On saturday we ran the last points race which was King of the Mountain. Finished third in the 3rd heat. Top 9 were to redraw, so finishing third in the third heat meant I was last to pull. Well, by dumb luck no one pulled the pole position, so I ended up starting first and won.

Here is the recap from the website:
Richie DiMarco pulled the pole position in the nine-car redraw for the street stocks. The green flag flew for the 50-lap King of the Mountain main event and Chip Wanamaker tucked in line behind DiMarco. Bill Vanderveen held the third spot, followed by Jason Arthoefer and Brad Barbush.

Steve Shultz and Elliott Wohl began to show some muscle and broke into the top five just before lap ten.

The first seventeen laps went caution free until Arthoefer had a solo spin in turn four.

Green flag racing resumed and DiMarco, who appeared to have spun his tires, was overtaken by Wanamaker for the race lead. Meanwhile, Steve Clark began to charge into the top five.

DiMarco, who had already clinched the street stock points title a few weeks ago, drove to the outside of Wanamaker for the lead. DiMarco regained the spot on lap nineteen, and then Wanamaker took it back two laps later. Finally, DiMarco retook the lead for good on lap twenty-two.

Shultz and Clark battled for third with Clark gaining the position. Clark then overtook Wanamaker for second on lap thirty-nine.

Clark made several attempts to reel in DiMarco over the closing laps, but was forced to finish in second. Shultz overtook Wanamaker to finish third and Wohl completed the top five.

Qualifying races went to Steve Clark, Chip Wanamaker and Bill Vanderveen.

Since I won, I raced sunday with the Super Stocks (they are more superior). Finished third in the first heat. Pulled for starting spot again, but this time pulled ninth. No big deal, I like passing cars =P. With around ten laps to go there was a yellow. On the restart the second place car left the bottom wide open for some reason and that allowed me to get underneath and pass him for second. He eventually got back underneath me coming out of turn two. Me and him ran side by side all the way to the last lap. I over drove it into turn three a little bit and lost second and finished third. It was a fun race. Not many people can run the outside like me

You should come out for the Turkey Derby event! Should be a blast! Definitely should be running!
