I could probably go on for days with this one...

The Talon:
-The center console didn't go back in 100% correctly when I changed the CD player, so now the plastic in front of my heat control stuff falls off. I'll fix it some day.
-One side mirror is beautiful black with clearcoat. the other is faded black, it's been replaced I believe.
-When I'm cruising at steady speed, the engine sometimes cuts out. I may need a new MAF.
-Once it's below 1/4 tank, it "seems to" (i'm sure it's the shape of the tank or the type of sensor) chew through gas way faster than when it has more fuel.
-It has days when it just doesn't want to run... it always starts, but sometimes it will stall several times until it's warmed up. I think this is a problem related to the stuttering at highway speeds issue.
-Tiny back seat. fitting more than 3 people in the car can be uncomfortable... actually, 3 people isn't great for the passenger/person in back seat either.
-Thin cloth on the seats/chinsey interior.
-the back side windows are tiny and mostly covered in defroster material, so between my front side windows and the back window, I've got a decent blind spot.
-my bumpers are pretty scratched up (actually my front bumper has a few cracks in it), but I cover the spots with band-aid decals, so it's at least amusing.
-I wish it was a TSi AWD (or at the very least a TSi)
-There are moldings above the doors that are chrome or aluminum coated in a thin rubber kind of material, which is all dried and cracking and you can see the metal behind it.
-The CD/MP3 player I have likes to stop reading cds every once in a while... i can remedy it by pulling the cd out and sticking it back in.
-Some stuff is pretty difficult to work on... i.e. I had to pull the battery box and intake off it just to change my fuel filter.
-It leaks a bit of oil, but most of that problem was fixed when i replaced a valve cover gasket.
-Boring boring stock rims/hubcaps and I can't afford to get better ones.
-Interior lights only come on SOMETIMES when the passenger door is open, and NEVER when the drivers door is open.
-There are other interior lights (i.e. one next to the cup holder, one around the key hole) that sometimes work and always catches me off guard since I'm not used to seeing them.
-120,000+ miles and it's starting to show it.
-Same engine as a Dodge Neon.
-Feels like it needs a 6th gear when on the highway... 65 has it running at higher RPMs than I would prefer.

The Karmann Ghia:
-No matter how many times I redo and paint it, the body work starts to crack and show through paint.
-Tired of "John Deere" and "green bay packers" comments
-Heater works GREAT on one side of the car, but it takes 30 minutes to start throwing heat and I can only turn it on/shut it off by hooking up/unhooking heater tubes on the engine.
-Every time I fix it, I'll drive it for a week and something else will break
-Crappy body work because it was done by me before I knew anything about doing body work or had a decent welder.
-Idles great cold or hot, but not while it's warming up
-Needs a new gas pedal installed (which I have, but haven't gotten around to fixing as it's been sitting in a garage for the last several months waiting for me to change a door hinge and brakes so I can get it inspected)
-Rear defroster wires are all worn off so the back window doesn't defrost and hasn't as long as I have owned the car.
-car virtually has no front defrosters (this goes back to my heating problem, but even if i fixed that issue it still wouldn't defrost well, old VWs never did) and it fogs like crazy and makes it impossible to see any time it rains... when I drove it daily, I used to soap the inside of the windows just to keep the fog away, now I just don't drive it when it's anything other than sunny out.
-No cup holders
-The last 2 exhausts I've put on it have rusted up pretty badly because the engine runs so hot and I've been buying high-temp painted exhaust... if I want to go chrome or stainless it would cost me a $100-300 more, which is more than it would cost for me to just buy a new painted header/muffler system.
-Leaks oil. All old VWs have leaked a little bit of oil since the dawn of time, even right after they rolled off the line. woohoo for cork seals and a block that splits in half
-Sloooooooooooooooooooow.
-VW purists hate it and I'm tired of hearing about it, it's not their car so they can STFU.
-Reverse is under 2nd gear, which I actually kind of like, EXCEPT, have you ever accidentally dumped a car into reverse while going 30 mph?
-No power brakes/ABS. if you stomp on the brakes in this car, it skids to a halt.
-Seats/headliner are stuffed with horsehair rather than foam or cushioning, or whatever.
-Shoddy amateur workmanship by me... some things turned out awesome, others I wish I could re-do but I'm not about to, I'll just sell it and start over with a new project.
-Difficult to get through inspection at some places because of the stinger exhaust and no bumpers.

I'm sure if I sat around and thought about it more, I could come up with a billion other things... but that's cool. I like both my cars a lot, they've just got a little extra.... "personality"...
