He was bashing the Palin/McCain ticket policies by stating that you can make them sound good, but they aren't. I don't know how you DON'T see that as an attack.

That's right, only McCain's campaign can attack obama.

But if you didn't hear the crowd laughing when obama said it, I don't know what you were watching. They certainly assumed that he was referring directly to Palins lipstick comment from her speech.
And yes, there are certainly more important things to talk about other than putting make-up on farm animals. I don't know what kind of weird fantasies obama has. Both parties are pathetic on this one.
