OK... now that i got ur attention lol... quick question for u honda guys... i have a 93 civic with a SOHC vtec swap, its a D16Y8 to be exact.. well last night after working out at a buddies house, his little brother came home and he has a built B20 boosted hatch, and we got to talking about our cars and long story short, he had his old SKunk2 ECU from his GSR in his trunk, and told me to try it out in my car... i hooked it up, and went for a ride..and wow..it made a huge difference.. its chipped to engage vtec at 6200 instead of 5200

, and it bumped the rev limiter to 10,000

*like that was necessary*

so baiscally i installed the ECU..and the car runs great, a HUGE improvement over the stock ecu, only problem is as soon as she starts pulling real hard, i have to shift due to the fact that im at 8k rpms.
my question is this..
since this ecu is for a 96 DOHC VTEC GSR motor...will it harm my little SOHC VTEC Y8??? like i said..the car runs great, the best its been since i got it, and i definatley noticed the gains.. i just didnt know if this would throw up a red flag for anyone. Im more or less worried about the A/F ratio's being to lean or something dumb happening..
also..what would u expect to pay for a used Skunk2 ecu.. we havent decided on a price, and i really dont want to pay more then its worth..
