Now, this is obviously my opinion...but to be honest with you, for someone who hasn't had enough time to for "customer service", you've certainly been on the computer all day replying to this thread. See, that's the exact kind of stunt that takes away credibility from you and your business. Honestly. Bull**** and joking aside, who cares about what's going on in this thread. Everyone is going to have their own opinion and you aren't going to change that with what you have to say. What will change it is how you both act moving forward. 2 words...CUSTOMER SERVICE. Seriously. What's been done is done. What's been said is said. Move forward with a different attitude/business plan and you will prosper. Otherwise, all the employees you just hired won't have any work when they're done with what they're doing. No one's going to want to do business with your shop.
Again, only my $.02.

Check my postings... I rarely post here.
Why? because I'm usually busy doing other things. I'm on here today, because people feel the need to chime in on a topic and spout here-say, and bull ****... because someone told someone else that their brother's best friend knew someone who brought their car here and wasn't happy. because Vr-4-life follows me around all over this site, in every thread I make or post in, and starts running his mouth... even though he has never stepped foot in this shop. because Q calls 20 times a day, even though I just spoke with him about a week ago, and told him exactly what I just told him now... that we're working on getting it in.
Running a shop isn't cut and dry, like a doctors office, or a jiffy lube. If all we did was oil changes... scheduling would be easy. But when you're doing engine swaps, and rebuilds, and turbo conversions, and 5spd conversions, and AWD conversion, and who knows what else... unexpected problems arise, and are dealt with as quickly as possible. And when you schedule jobs, and your mechanic is out sick for nearly a month with crippling joint problems... things get backed up.
I don't have time to post on here to the one or two customers that frequent this forum, to explain what is going on. We told him all of this last week, I didn't think I needed to reiterate myself 20 times over since then.
