Anybody Else from Central Jersey?
 

i'm from monroe twp. all the meets i see are for south jersey / pa. anybody else around here?

I'm from central, Middletown to be specific. Yeah most meets are south jersey, it pretty much sucks around here. There is a meet at the Sonic on rte 9 in Howell from what I understand. Never been to it though

the only people that are from our area are on the other forum, these guys are a bit south but it's worth the drive if you want to hang out with actual car enthusiasts

sounds like i'll have to venture out then. i don't really know anybody so i'm a little hesitant to make the drive. i skimmed over the meet section on the other forum but i haven't found anything good. only meets started by creepy kids i don't know who try to add me and my gf (who has completely nothing to do with cars at all) on facebook. it's like everything's gotten shut down and everyone has moved on

the other site has it's fair share of 500+whp cars nearing completion... everyone overshot their deadlines and are just slowly finishing... if you think i spent the last 2 years acquiring parts for the 240 to sit on my ass when it's complete you're crazy :) ...

honestly your best bet is to go to some track days for drifting and go to the scca events to meet those kinda people (that actually do **** to their cars). parking lot pimpin & fanbois are what is ruining the scene, i was glad to see you got out at the rta thing... hopefully more people start getting active...

Yeah I know the feeling, I don't know anyone either so I really don't feel like driving over an hour to a meet just to stand around by myself. If you wanna go to a meet, since your in my area send me a pm and we can hit it up together.

just got back from the sonic meet in howell. its a nice meet wit about 50cars. a lot of stangs evos and 240s real chill meet, no rice or problems.

and i hate to post this butt, theres a huge meet in woodbridge. Best buy off route 1 south right across woodbridge mall. thursday nites. 100+ cars easy.
