X-BOX 360 RROD Repair

Anyone repaired one before?

I've tried the towel trick.

I've taken it apart and put new thermal compound on it.

I then did the towel trick again.

Still blinkin.

Before this thing gets wings and flies out my window...HELP!

I have fixed about 8 so far and all are still running. PM me for my number. Legit fix btw no overheating tricks. New bolts, replace x-clamps, new thermal paste (done right) and a full cleaning. Have 2 right now that im working on also haha.

I just fixed mine with the thermal compound and making sure that the clamps were tight enough.

I was lazy with mine and just bought a new Elite last week. Good to know someone local is repairing them without having to go all the way to Microsoft.

my xbox rrod'd too... i've been sitting on it for a couple months now wondering whether to sell it or fix it... how tough is it to fix?

If you can put a CPU in a computer you can fix an Xbox. The hardest part is getting the case open.

guess i'll take a crack at it then... gives me a chance to use up the rest of this Carbon Fiber 3m wrap too
