It might help if you list some specifics such as what sort of position within the field that you're qualified for.

jesus_ralliart 03-31-2010 10:13 AM

i have a BS in bio with a minor in chem. I have minimal lab tech experience, some sales experience, speak Polish fluently.

So generally, jobs that require a BS and 0-1 yrs experience.

97TurboDSM 03-31-2010 10:27 AM

there are some open positions at my company. where do you live

jesus_ralliart 03-31-2010 07:37 PM

i live in jersey. literally 30-40 min south of nyc( regular traffic days, not rush hour)

however, for the right job, ill move. i actually am really looking to move out...

97TurboDSM 03-31-2010 09:01 PM

well my company is in middletown,pa near harrisburg. if you're serious i can get you more info

jesus_ralliart 04-01-2010 10:25 AM

i am serious. really not joking at all, if you would help me out, id greatly appreciate it.

97TurboDSM 04-01-2010 08:18 PM

i'll be back at work on sunday to get you the info you need. in the mean time, check out www.analyticallab.com

jesus_ralliart 04-01-2010 08:19 PM

ok, thanks man.

i looked over the site and its exactly what i'm trying to get into. Also, if/when u talk to someone if you could let me know what they are looking for in terms of certifications, i would appreciate it. I'm willing to get any/all certificates or go back to school for my M.S.

Either way, thanks a bunch and it is very interesting looking.

jesus_ralliart 04-05-2010 02:56 PM

hey, so whats the deal? i was thinking of just applying. should i or is it better to wait for u?

97TurboDSM 04-05-2010 03:10 PM

you can apply yourself. I believe the only position available right now is for 2nd shift in the organic department. If you do decide to apply, let me know because I can submit a referral form and get some money if you are employed for a certain amount of time. I can also see if our Wet Chem dept needs any help as they're swamped right now, they just dont have a position listed at the moment. as for qualifications, you're more than qualified for the position they have listed as open right now. i will send out an email tonight to see about other dept's needing help.

jesus_ralliart 04-05-2010 06:46 PM

Much appreciated and if i get the job and you get a bonus then all the better.
I'll apply tommorow and we can go from there.

jesus_ralliart 04-06-2010 07:55 PM

Ok, i sent an email to beth. Lemme know how things go and I hope that it works out for both of us.

jesus_ralliart 04-08-2010 11:04 AM

anything on your end? i sent her the EEO form completed. when she responded to the email all she said was "thanks !"

97TurboDSM 04-08-2010 01:57 PM

im not sure beth is 100% complete upstairs. we just had another position open up in our wet chem department. what is your name? I will email her to give you preference after any internal applications are sent. you can pm me your info

jesus_ralliart 04-08-2010 08:21 PM

pm sent

jesus_ralliart 04-11-2010 12:04 PM

bump

lemme know if u got my info or if u want my number.

still no word from beth since i filled out the EEO form and sent it to her

97TurboDSM 04-11-2010 12:24 PM

i dont work every day. i go in to work tonight and i'll take your stuff with me and send her an email

97TurboDSM 04-12-2010 10:13 AM

sent Beth an email last night. She sent a company wide email saying that the wet chem position is not a permanent position. she's terrible at getting things right so thats no surprise to me. i told her to keep you at the top of the list for anything that comes up

jesus_ralliart 04-12-2010 03:35 PM

thanks man
