2005 Porsche Carrera GT
Description:
This is the worst Porsche Carrera GT wreck so far and the story behind it is very odd. A couple had just befriended the owner of the Porsche at a resort. The owner allowed the couple to "test" drive his car. The woman took the driver's seat and her boyfriend/husband sat in the passenger seat. Within 1 mile of starting the test drive, the woman lost control and crashed into a couple of trees, tearing the car in half. She suffered severe injuries while the man walked away from the accident. The moral of the story is: NEVER ALLOW A STRANGER TO DRIVE YOUR HIGH PERFORMANCE CAR!!

that crash isnt that bad based on the sheer fact that a car like that is built to break in half on a high impact crash...

EXCEPT, what looks like a little damage actually totalled the car. Bent and cracked frame, and all the cooling tubes that run through the door are crushed as well. $350K damage. Who wants to drive up to Massachusetts for a parts car Carrera GT!!

That's to seperate the cockpit from the engine bay, so that the engine doesn't come up at +100mph and crush the driver and passenger.

That crash is NOT that bad at the looks of it.

The people in the original post obiviously messed up pretty bad, but the second one looks like it's a less terrible mistake, and that still totalled it!! At least he/she can make some cash off of all the parts still left... I'll take the brakes, seats, and wheels please (not that they fit because they have those fancy hubs.)
