What do you guys think?

What do you guys think about this WRX. I've been looking for one for a while and I'm trying to limit my spending to about 10k.

hmm for some reason i feel like its way to cheap for only 60,000 miles. from "pics" it looks to be in good condition.

+1 for rare color

i would say check it out and if all looks good get it bc that is hella cheap for that many miles and fmic and w.e else he has done to it

like mentioned, I think that price is insane. If the title / car fax checks out I'd say get it!! The color is rare (and I love it) and Paint looks perfect along with the interior. All's it needs is a black lip, fog covers, and dif. wheels! (looks wise)..

Get it!

yea carfax is key, looks good just make sure its well maintained

Sberk06 03-21-2010 05:15 PM

I think its extremely nice, and cheap. I'de be somewhat skepticle about it, but if it all checks out, then I wouldn't even hestitate on buying it; there is no way it will last long.

Chubbbbs 03-21-2010 05:22 PM

Yea, I went out and checked it out and it all seemed a little fishy. First the guy said there was motor work done (cams, pistons, rods) all replaced with aftermarket and second there was a check engine light and they said that they replaced the trans but broke the speed sensor which was causing the check engine light and the speedometer not to work. It had a carbon fiber trunk and hood that was painted to match but on the trunk it was all peeling and such. Other than that it wasn't that bad, was decently quick too. But being a daily driver for me just wasn't going to work not knowing what other problems might arise.

Tires2theSky 03-21-2010 05:29 PM

Yeah i would def pass on that.....i would never buy a modified car from a dealer because they never really know whats going on. Seems super fishy to me

Omar_MSP 03-21-2010 05:30 PM

good research, keep lurking, your bound to find the proper dd for yourself. it doesn't have to be hooked up, better safe than sorry

I still really really want a wrx for some reason. I want one that is completely stock if possible maybe a turbo back/intake or something along those lines is fine. I didn't realize before I went down there that it had that much. I thought it had some visual mods and a FMIC.

Omar_MSP 03-21-2010 07:45 PM

take your time, that one subby will come your way!

ndubz 03-21-2010 07:55 PM

looks pretty dope. low price may be cuz of the mods. Go drive it and have a mechanic look at it. then decide

yeah take it to a shop and have them look it over, could be the best $30 you ever spend

Rally Sport 03-21-2010 08:26 PM

From what you were syaing, i would be pass. There's a ton of wrx's out there if you look hard enough.

Chubbbbs 03-21-2010 08:52 PM

Yea, I am passing on that one. I just hope I find one soon since I have been out of a car now for 2 weeks and I'm already losing my mind lol. If any of you know someone that has an 02-03 or an 04-05 wrx for sale for around 10-11k with under 90k let me know I'll definitely be interested.
