Inspection
 

Does anybody know where I can get an inspection done in south jersey. I can pass no problem, I just don't want to rip off my tint and I don't want somebody else drive my car, especially at the inspection station. My car is OB2

There are tons of shops in williamstown and Atlantic City has a lot of shops that will pass you.

really any private shop can pass you,but they have to drive you car through drive cycles on the machine,so it does have to be driven by someone else.

The only reason a private station would drive your car is for a brake test. And if the lot is big enough they don't even have to leave.

The monitors also don't have to be made ready by the shop. They go ready once until there is a fault or they are cleared. And they can go ready after 2 good cold drive cycles and driving around town and a few shots up the highway.

If your light hasn't been on and you haven't cleared your ECM or had the battery die, then im sure the monitorsa are ready. I am a licensed inspector near Wildwood if ya wanna make the trip.

there are a few shops around me that charge 100 bucks. They are more for the people who cannot pass inspection. I can pass at the State inspection fine, except for my tint. I just don't want to get ripped off for 100 bucks if I know my car can pass without their help.

My car is due for an inspection in june and im trying to do tint before then but i just need to find a shop that does it for around 40.I have found a few but they aren't the nicest guys.Jim I may take you up on that PM your info,prices,ect.

Damn! My guy in PA takes mine off for 30 and puts it back on for half price.
