Chrome everywhere isn't my thing, i'd rather see it all blacked out but that's just me. I wanna see the pics though, sounds niiiice!

Sublime1304 03-05-2010 09:05 PM

im not a fan of chrome everywhere either but for some reason it doesnt look too bad. maybe it has to do with the white. chrome on white looks better than say chrome on black. I bought it this way so its from whoever owned it first. ckeck out my photo album in my profile page. there is one pic. havent taken delivery of it yet

jbloom 03-05-2010 11:43 PM

i've never understood why people bought these things. The 6 cylinder are slow and adding the big boy wheels has to slow it up a bit. But if its your style good luck to you.

JST2KWIK 03-06-2010 12:19 AM

when do you take delivery of it?

I agree but i think the grille should be paint matched or blacked out in the future. That's my biggest thing with chargers.

How much did you get it for? Should have went with an SRT-8 or at least an R/T, they can be pretty cheap these days.

Sublime1304 03-06-2010 08:56 AM

i came with the 3.5L V6 and i know for a fact that it has plenty enough power for the car. im only 18 and this is my second car and im not trying to pay high gas rices and high insurance prices. i wanted something that i can afford right now. I know everyone hates all the chrome but understand, this is how it came from the factory. i payed $20K for it with only 16,xxx miles and originally it sold new starting at $32K. Its a way better deal over other SXTs because you get more for your money with the extra options. personally, i love this car and its my kind of style

the shipping company called and said they'll be delivering the car late tonight. so excited. hopefully ill be seeing many people here at some of the meets

The first mod should be pulling the 3.5 and replacing it with something else.

March 12th update:

so ive been driving the car legally since yesterday and i love it. put on the chrome DUB Edition front plate and a badge on the dash. i get so many looks. its a really stunning car in the sun. i took many pics and will post them soon. sorry im a procrastinator lol

russiankid 03-12-2010 03:04 PM

I am curious, what makes this DUB edition?

Sublime1304 03-12-2010 03:11 PM

apprently chrysler and DUB came together to design these special edition models based off the lifestyle and culture of the whole aftermarket and custom industry. the term DUB means the size of your wheels over 20". Go pick up the latest issue of DUB magazine and you'll see what its all about. dont hate lol

Subie_sleeper 03-12-2010 03:16 PM

Is this an AWD car?

russiankid 03-12-2010 03:16 PM

They could have at least put a V8 in there.

With a little searching you could have found an SRT-8 with comparable or slightly higher miles that originally sold new starting at $42k+.

Sorry, but you paid $20k for a base model Charger with a bunch of stupid accessories and motor rated at ~250bhp pushing a 2 ton car around.

it really doesn't scream "lifestyle and culture of the whole aftermarket and custom industry"
