If I saw two skylines drifting in the snow I'd **** myself. In fact, I'm ****ting myself just thinking about it.

The 34 looked to be from NY, hence going thru the lincoln tunnel and not having a front plate.

That is awesome, i need an awd beater. Im shocked the cops didnt pass by and break up the madness. The only R34s that were in the area used to be from NY but there are plenty of R33s and R32s in Jersey.

BLKtopSIL80 02-12-2010 10:04 AM

yea the skylines are from jersey...my friend kenny that made the video knows them

It was standard equipment in the R33 Skyline GT-R Vspec model, however it was offered as an option on the standard R33 Skyline GT-R, and called the "Active LSD option". It was also standard equipment on all R34 Skyline GT-R models.

ATTESA-E-TS Pro differs from the standard ATTESA-E-TS in a few ways. Where ATTESA-E-TS controls the front to rear torque-split, the Pro is also capable of left-and-right torque split to the rear wheels. This is done via an active rear limited-slip differential. Additionally, the ATTESA-E-TS Pro was marketed as controlling the four-wheel independent ABS braking system. This is not part of the AWD system, but the ECU makes use of the same sensors to determine wheel slip and traction.

On ATTESA-E-TS Pro equipped vehicles, the front differential remains a standard limited slip differential, not being linked to the ATTESA-E-TS Pro system.

That what I found.

And last time I checked....aren't Skylines illegal in US now?

Foolinaround 02-12-2010 11:25 AM

The plates deff werent from jersey, either NY or Ohio

mcperson2k 02-12-2010 11:29 AM

Most of the R34's here in the states came through motorx and that other company so they are legal, which is why they go for like 80k.

Also I know the technology that the skylines used for their AWD systems is different than most. I am pretty sure they are RWD until certain variables come into play, than which the AWD kicks in. Could be wrong though... But I do know you can buy kits for them for about 100 bucks, where you just flip a switch, and the car can be AWD or RWD.

jspek 02-12-2010 03:58 PM

motorex was a scam. thats why they got busted. they werent doing what they were suppose to do to make them legal.

Renegade_ 02-12-2010 04:08 PM

Kaizo was ****ing up too. It just never ends.

P.S. You can pull a fuse in R32s and make them RWD. I know this is a 34, but random fact of the day is needed.

Not really.

They are RWD-biased AWD systems.
Just means their power split isnt 50/50 like a typical manual Subaru is.

DPancoast 02-12-2010 04:53 PM

thats pretty sweet

Da InFaMMuS 1 02-12-2010 06:18 PM

wow, that's what i call enjoying your exotic lol. But i'd never subject my exotic to snow, if i had one lol.

Renegade_ 02-12-2010 06:41 PM

If I had a skyline I'd daily the **** out of it. Is someone really not going to enjoy the entire gamut of experience you could with the car you bought? I think there's a word for that... Its the word you would use to describe people that dont drift 240s, dont autox subies, and dont slam miatas and VWs. Yeah... can't think of the word right now, but Im sure its not "originality" and doesn't rhyme with toaster.

I need to make up a word for an enthusiast who doesn't get it...

Mercury 02-12-2010 09:43 PM

Oh my goodness. I FREAKING HATE SKYLINES. Everybody thinks they are GODLIKE.

Anybody else feel me?

dudewheresmycar 02-12-2010 10:21 PM

no. saw a red r32 with black wheels at a gas station a week ago. snapped like 12 pics lol.later the guy said he sold it for 33k. really??
