i am finally allmost done putting my beast together . it will be done this spring and i cant wait 2 1/2 years of hard work and money . well here is pics of the engine bay it just needs a few more parts and i am in the process of installing a full bodykit , lambo doors , new spoiler , wide front and rear fenders , rims and tires , and coilover kit , plus more . let me know what you guys think

Honestly not a fan of the lambo doors unless they're on a lambo but it looks like you have allot of work into her. Any numbers?

SvicksTc 02-07-2010 01:12 PM

ya i say ditch the lambo door idea, they are heavy and pretty gay looking....

would also love to know some numbers....

Agreed with ditching the doors, car looks pretty sweet now..

TalonTsi97 02-07-2010 02:37 PM

holy crap thats a lot of wires and vacuum lines. Get rid of that cxracing sticker as well.

bl@ckvr4 02-07-2010 02:47 PM

Instead of getting vertical doors, get the car painted instead. Trust me, it's money well-invested. Props on sticking with the rotary. That's what's up!

Keep the car clean and simple. Lambo doors and overdone bodykits are generally played out these days.
Id also clean up all of the blue vac/electrical lines all over the engine as best as you can and go for a cleaner look.

good luck.

Looks great other than the blue spaghetti! :)

Big_Bird 02-07-2010 02:56 PM

Say no to lambo

fc3s 02-07-2010 03:11 PM

wow ok so no lambo i will try and clean up the wires like i said its still a work in progress , i dont have any numbers yet cause i still need a tune but its a s5 jdm turbo motor ported and polished , gt45 turbo and 750 pri and 1200 sec injectors looking to hit somewhere in the 400 range its a stripped interior so it only weighs around 1450-1500 right now

nhanxsolo 02-07-2010 03:45 PM

no body kit neither please.

:bigeek: I don't know about that man. Did you put it on a scale? I don't see stripping the interior losing over a 1000 pounds. How stripped we talking?

Looks like its coming together. What are you tuning with?

doug 02-07-2010 05:34 PM

imagine playing find the vacuum leak on that set up..

fc3s 02-07-2010 05:41 PM

its wire loom for my standalone unit not vacume lines plus my spark plug wires are blue and i have located the battery in the back of the car and had extra wires wich i put wire loom on , a fully loaded rx7 only weighs 1750 stck fully loaded so no i didnt loose a 1000 pounds there just really light cars in general . i dont really car what anyone says i wanna do lambo doors and um thats what i am gonna do and thats that. as for the body kit thats going on as well if noone likes it buys yourself an rx7 and do it the way u want but dont tell me how to build my car . i respect opinions but i wont stand to have someone tell me how to build my car. if i wanna paint it neon green and slap on some neons underneath and make it ricer heaven i will .

^ Now ur mad. Chill out. Expect that **** when u post up future mods like LAMBO DOORS.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_RX-7

Your car stock has a curb weight of 2300-2500 pounds. It isn't gonna hit the scales at 1500 pounds esp with ur lambo doors and body kit.

fc3s 02-07-2010 07:21 PM

ok i am chilled out , the lambo doors is just something i want more than i need plus i got a killer deal from my boy in cali 400 bucks for the kit . i admit they are ricey and have wanted them when they first came out but couldnt afford them at the time . now that i had the cash i will install prolly get bored of them and switch it back. and the bodykit that i am installing is very tasteful and accents the body lines great and its not a cheap ebay piece of crap

SvicksTc 02-07-2010 07:33 PM

what tranny?

J240 02-07-2010 08:29 PM

looks like a good start to me. just build it they way you want it.

Scapegoat 02-07-2010 09:19 PM

Spock's crx weighed 2020 stripped out... i doubt this car is under 2000 lbs

from your link.

Curb weight: 2,625 lb (1,191 kg) - 3,071 lb (1,393 kg)

the lowest that car weighs is probably 2300ish.

driftingrx5.7 02-07-2010 09:21 PM

wow i have not seen a 13b in a while i almost forgot the vacuum hoses. we use to call them the rats nest! get the car running good and get it painted forget everything else!
