Left turn signal
 

Quick question about a traffic light. If I am in a left turn pocket and there is a left turn signal light. If the light is red, that means I cannot turn, correct? Today I saw a lady in front of me turn on the red because there were no on coming cars. I always thought that if the light is red, you cannot turn whether or not there are no oncoming cars.

red means stop unless its one way to one way
