$1,000 CASH to anyone in the PHILLY area..Quick and easy.

THE REWARD IS NOW MOVED UP TO $5,000 CASH

I am posting this for a friend. Any information, You can contact me with your telephone number and I will instantly relate the message and you will have your $1,000 cash in hand as soon as the quad is delivered back to it's rightful owner, Or you find out where it is located.

Two or so days ago my friends father and a few others went to go deliver a quad they were selling, To someone in The philly area. They met the guy two blocks from the address he had given them, In a parking lot where the quad could be driven.

The owner took the quad for a ride and showed it worked. The ''buyer'' then got the keys, Took the quad, Fell off it, Quick jumped back on it and kept going, Never to be seen or found.

He was using a pre-paid cell phone, And a fake name.

Apparently the detectives are investigating the case and my friends father now hasto go back tuesday to look through pictures of ''criminals'' in the area to see if he can identify anyone.

Regardless, Anyone who seen this quad, or see's any parts of it, or the actual quad itself forsale, or being used, Contact me and you will recieve $1,000 cash.

It will be the fastest $1,000 you ever made, Aside from actually stealing the quad yourself and re-selling it or selling parts..

The ''buyer'' was a large, Black man from my understanding.

What part of the Philly area? Check out Beach Street. Everyone (& I mean everyone) races their quads (sometimes cars) Sunday afternoons down there. Maybe you'll get lucky... my 2cents

nhanxsolo 01-31-2010 04:55 PM

Wow wtf? people are disgusting... good luck to the original owners of that thing. How much do you think that thing is worth if they're offering a $1000 reward to get it back?

EklipzGSXkid 01-31-2010 04:59 PM

I honestly don't know how much it is worth. I know they just finished building it and I guess it has thousands of dollars into the engine or something crazy like that... I don't know much about quads. I will relate the message right now though thank you very much for the information so far!

Here is some more information:

Last seen in the area of 3RD AND ROOSEVELT BLVD, Northeast Philly.

6'2" black male, Goes by the name of Douglas Blackey.

poisonivory 01-31-2010 06:17 PM

3rd Street and Roosevelt blvd is not northeast Philly...lol nor is it a place you want to go poking around to find people. If you get any information, take it to the police, but please don't try to be a hero.

My assumption would be the plastics are painted or replaced by now, and all the parts that make it easily identifiable are gone/changed.

But in all seriousness...i hope they find this scumbag because stuff like this makes me sick. When I lived in Juniata, my boy got clotheslined off of his RM125 and never saw it again.

I will keep relating the messages back to him. I know nothing other then what he keeps telling me. Hopefully they leave it to the police to try and figure out, Because I'm sure going in an unknown area like that would be a very bad mistake.

A few of my friends got robbed at gun point same exact situation. They took the dirtbike to them next thing they know a guy with a gun comes running around the corner. Worst part was they were in jersey so they couldnt carry. Is it worth risking your life for property? No. Is it worth risking your life to get another scumbag thief off the planet? YES

Same story w one of my friends. Selling something through craigslist. Always meet in very public areas

This sucks bro. But taking a quad to a buyer in Philly is total loss to begin with. Always have them come to you and meet close to home. Be on YOUR turf. I used to sell streetbikes on the side as a hobby. You have to be careful. If someone is genuinely interested in buying, they'll make the trip.

mcperson2k 01-31-2010 10:30 PM

Did you check the local hospital? Since he fell of and all... Maybe he was hurt pretty bad and he thought it was his fastest choice.

ThePrimerSuspect 01-31-2010 10:36 PM

quads are a dime a dozen in north philly. cause the cops cant chase them unless its involved in a felony. but if you PM me with a phone number ill keep a close eye out. im down there pretty much all day somedays depending where i get stuck at work.

Vr-4-Life 02-01-2010 12:00 PM

try posting up another add for a quad and see if the dude shows up.

jpalamar 02-01-2010 12:05 PM

I wouldn't bother looking. You aren't going to find it. If you do, it is going to be trashed. If you find the guy, he probally has no money and no earning potential so sueing him is worthless. He probally has a criminal record already so you aren't even really going to hurt him or make him think twice about doing it again.

You friend screwed himself by letting someone shady take it for a spin without cash in hand and an ID... especially in a shady neighborhood. If people want to buy something, they will come to you to check it out. Hopefully he will learn form this even thuogh it def sucks.

420sx 02-01-2010 12:45 PM

Its long gone. Sorry fella.

I had a KX80 stolen from me last summer. They caught the guy with my Blaster, and got my quad back, but couldnt prove he took the bike too. So he got away with it. I dont think they were even able to pin him for the quad. Just "recieving stolen property." Sucks.

EklipzGSXkid 02-01-2010 05:39 PM

I don't know what they are going to do, But I would assume the quad is repainted, stripped, or has been sold off quick.

I agree with all the above posts, And I don't know what they were thinking by delivering it all the way to philly, And then leaving the guy drive it without knowing him. Crazy.

FocusDude 02-01-2010 06:50 PM

Keep checking CL!? That's a shame.

EklipzGSXkid 02-02-2010 12:54 AM
