I always post eagle pics, but I thought I would post a few pics of some different birds. These were all taken during my recent trip to Florida using my D3, 300 2.8, and TC20EII on a tripod.

I hope you don't mind the bird/wildlife stuff. It's something I really like to take pics of.

The Spoonbill shot and pose is great, what a funky creature. Sometimes I can't believe things actually exist that look like that...

I take it the 300 VR holds up well even with the 2.0x?

I use a non-VR 300, but all the version s of Nikon's 300 2.8 work very well with the TC20EII as long as you have a stable support. I use the combo quite a bit.
