A honda wouldn't have helped any.

kcnizm0 12-20-2009 04:19 PM

and the tires he had on prob helped out alot... wasnt the stock Potenza RE070's lol

evomike 12-20-2009 04:26 PM

That's such a terrible idea that no person in their right mind should try, the damage that he could have caused if the truck was actually stuck is rediculous you easilly could have pulled the hitch out and destroyed the car, but oh well not my car and it's funny to see.

Yeah considering tow capacity is what maybe 3k lbs? I guess he proved us wrong though. Plus the truck was helping. The other day on the turnpike I saw a dude with a 98 body style ford Taurus towing a early 90's jeep cherokee. haha

Seriously!

It's pretty obvious the truck wasn't "stuck". Considering they were using some small gauge braided line to pull the truck out, not much resistance existed.

You could also hear the trucks engine underload.

His tires would of spun forever before destroying his frame where the hitch was hooked up to, even if the truck was badly stuck. If anything he put his clutch, maybe trans, and the tow strap in danger. You are right though, its not a good idea to try regardless.

I was waiting fro a train to come

Well your lame comment was even worse lets break that down.

"Truck didn't seem that it was all that stuck, just needed a little help to get up the hill" Here you're trying to brush it off like it was kinda lame and really isn't impressive at all. Then you say this "Still impressive though, I love me a good subie" Could you contradict yourself even more then that? That's like saying to someone "no offense" then proceeding with an insult.
