Short notice TST snow meet!Cedar Crest Blvd. Applebees.

Anyone who feels comfortable driving in this weather come on out! If your car/tires aren't set up for winter driving please stay in.
Otherwise, we have a fresh tape in the camcorder for snow fun afterwards, I hope to see some more brave souls out tonight!
5 confirmed cars so far. :-)

Looks like I just missed you guys. I got to Applebees just after 8:30.

Just got home. It was a blast.
There wound up only being two cars who went out to play.
The Baja & a Forester suspention lifted Outback Sport.
It was a good night. We rescued a stuck TC on 309, sort of.
We convinced him to rip through the grass to a less steep section of embankment. He was bouncing off the rev limited in every gear but it made it out under it's own power. So far this storm has been a really good time.
I can't wait for the next one. :-)

I saw several stuck Scion TC's on my drive to Applebees and back. One spun off of 78 and was backwards on the shoulder in a ditch. The police were already there. Two were pulled off to the side of the road and didn't look like they would be going anywhere soon. One was unable to make it up over south mountain on 378 and just spinning its wheels. I had to cut around on some side streets to go around it.

I had to turn off my traction control to make it up my driveway when I got home. I had the traction control on and it applied the rear brakes and cut power to the engine, making me stall.
