there is a member of this site with a former-FWD spyder that he converted to AWD and it pushes over 600whp. 4g's are no joke!

Good post Taylor. I still don't understand after all these years how people hate on Eclipse's/DSM's so much. Obviously I drive one and love them but I'm not a fan of just Eclipses if you truely know me. There are a bunch of other cars I would love to own over this but this is life for now. They are one of the most capable 4 cylinders ever and for all the "crankwalk" haters what was the true failure rate... wasn't it like 5-8%? Sure that should be more like 1-2%, but 5-8% isn't as bad as most people like to portray it to be. The reason for all the failures of these motors if the retards who try to build their motors in their garage and have no skill. Certain people can get away with this *cough*Nick*cough* but most people shouldn't be building the motor on their own.

I never thought of the 2nd gen as a girls car.
Sadly for me. the 3g definitely is still though of as a girl car even though there are some pretty nasty 3gs out there.

If you want real props, get a 2GB Talon. People don't even know what they are. And chicks love 'em. :mrgreen:

If you watch some more videos on youtube of that car, he maxes out dynos. And he won his class on the track day with a 5500 RPM limiter left on by accident.

I'd love to get a CLEAN 2GB Talon sometime but the problem is finding a clean one. Most Eagle owners didn't take care of them like GST/GSX owners have.:(

My buddy is breaking in a sick 1g fwd,ill try and get a build spec write up for you but hes been building this motor for almost 3 years. lots of money and blood.
