More info will be announced in upcoming months, the 4th annual Nicofest will be held in Carlisle PA May 8th & 9th, 2010.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the show, it is a car show for all makes and models. However, if you come to the show and head to the back of the Carlisle Fairgrounds, you’ll smell burnt rubber, hear cars screaming at the top of their rev range, and see an extraordinary display of skill, as drifters and auto-crossers tear up the track.

If you like shiny stuff and loud music, the car show is for you. But if you like horsepower, adrenaline, and driving skill, you’ll probably end up hanging out in the NICO area all weekend. NICO participates in the show by offering a chance for everyone to autoX their vehicle, or drift it if you dare to try.

Preregistration will be available, as wall as pay at the gate. Once inside you can autocross / drift your vehicle as much as you can possibly get into the weekend. Last year was a $25.00 gate fee.

lol, i'd go if i wasn't so hated over at NICO. Anyways good to see their doing a badass event like this, i wish i never got banned from there haha.

Nick, come out. I will be there, just don't bring stickers or anything. I can also introduce you to Greg the owner of Nico, and you can say your peace and get your ban lifted in person.

I feel like that would work out horrible..lol, maybe i will.

This sounds like an awesome event, an motivation to get my car back on the road.

I'm definitely in. Time to put in some overtime.

It is, but we rent he rear of the grounds and the track which is a separated, gated off area. So yes it is at that event, but Nicofest is held at the track and rear area of the event grounds. We are not just showing up and calling it Nicofest. Nico fest and Nissan motors USA are the two big sponsors of the entire show.

what's the autox course like? is it on the same course as the drift comp??

I'm not 100% sure. I will find out. I didn't go last year, but I will post images and details as they come in.

Same coarse. cones are in place for the auto X, and pulled for the smoke session.

so are we gonna get some caravans down there? :mrgreen:

Well myself and the other Nico people are staying at a hotel near by (aka party). So I wont be in any caravans, but yeah set some up when he time comes. Hotel area kinda cheap if you do want to attend both days. Just book early. I will be towing my car, and Kegerator lol. By the time this event is here my car will be 6 speed, on 285's. Not sliding on purpose, but I may tear up the autocross coarse.

If anyone here lives in the area and can help out with the gates, let me know. We can use a few people to help. Oh and like hot girl in short tight clothing / bikinis / car/product models are appreciated.

That track really sucks goats nutz though. But I still always have a blast!

I'll def be there but don't know if I'll enter... depends if the car is back together by then

We could all just meet up at the KOP Mall in a specific lot and Caravan from there.
