Fred Beans Review??
 

Anyone have any experience with the Fred Beans dealerships? Problems, concerns, praises? Thinking of checking out a used truck there.

I bought my 2004 used Outback there last year and my parents bought a new Dodge there in 2005. I think they are great for a dealership. They did everything I asked.

I buy a lot of my parts from there. Jeremy knows his stuff.

i worked for a sister dealership of fred beans that sold dodge chrysler and jeep and it was an overall nice dealership

my girlfriends dad just got dicked over by them when he was trying to lease one car and buy another at the same time... lots of running around the bush and not being very helpful from what I heard.

I worked there at one point. As far as the shops go theyre pretty nice most techs at most dealerships are good guys. As far as buying a car goes dont expect to get a good deal because you wont find it at beans. I find them to be high I assume its because of most of their locations being in doylestown. If youre asking about fred himself I do not like him in any way shape or form. In my opinion he will do anything to get a head and will only do things to benefit himself, he does some stuff for the community but only if his name gets put nice and big on it.

i hate them and will never buy another car from them again nor will my parents.

i went in there a few months ago - asked him about a vehicle and the first price he threw out was ludicrous - i told him so but there was no movement on their part at all. Don't expect to get a fair deal.

I'm mixed about Beans. I've met some cool people that have worked there but a friend of mine got dicked over regarding a service refund and also I keep getting emails from a sales person asking if i'm looking for a car even though I emailed her months ago and told her I bought something.

fred beans is a great place/dealership. every dealership you go to is always going to have their high prices, thats a known fact when you go to dealerships. i know that fred beans offers the customer card, which is like free inspections, all that stuff...he takes up all of doylestown, and hes been in business for over 20 years, so hes doing something right. but to each is its own, i personally like fred beans

Got my recall done there couple months ago. Had a good experience with them. They had the car for about 3 1/2 weeks but gave me a loaner car (even though I can't drive it cuz im 19) but my mom got it and I drove her car. They ended up replacing more than just the subframe and control arms, they replaced an oxygen sensor, a couple nuts and they have on the invoice ($0 owed) replaced exhaust manifold? Excellent service done for me.

Fred Beans has been good to Julie about warrenty work on her GTO. I've never left their disappointed. Sales people are always there joking with us when we are there to trade in on a G8.

I know all the hyundai techs they are good peoples. Is your tiburon the one with the tinted flame thing on the back window?

My g/fs mom had a bad expereince with their Hyundai team. She bought her new Santa Fe or whoever you call it there new in 07/08? It is underwarrenty and still under miles yet they won't replace a timing belt. They say it is wear and tear even though the owners manual says it should last longer then it does and they paid extra for the extended warrenty.

Timing belt is not a warranty item and Evo clutches should last longer than 15k miles but they don't that's my warranty, and if you get ripped off and a bad deal when buying from a dealer it's nobodies fault but yours. Fred beans is a dick but the dealerships aren't bad an they have alot of knowledable techs and if you aren't dumb you can get a good deal.

**** Fred Beans. I worked there for 2 and a half years and got fired for questioning why they were putting new tires on certain fire vehicles with perfectly good tires currently on them and why the parts manager was IN the fire company and receiving kick backs and he was saying how the fire company was doing it to use up tax payer money to make sure they got the same amount the following year. The Saturn store manager said and I quote "Brian, why do you care its not your tax money" before firing me a few days later and ****ing me out of my 80 hours vacation pay that I was saving all year to cash in for christmas present money.

Also, the sales department pressures the technicians to complete the Q-cert forms for the used cars even if they have problems because the store was too cheap to fix them properly but still wanted to sell them for top dollar.

If I knew how to legally go about getting them back I would do it in a heartbeat.

A clutch can be from driver mod and abuse, explain a 30k mile timing belt issue on a bought new V6 auto SUV that goes 40 miles highway each day. There is no wear and tear, its failure when the book says its good for double+ where it already is.

I do agree with you on the deal part, you choose to buy at whatever price you did so STFU if your not happy lol.

I can't explain it it just happens sometimes it's a wear and tear item and I'm sure if
you complained enough you'd get it, you can't take no for an answer and let them walk all over you.
