Thanks Bill! Coming from you, the car i envy, that means a lot :)

I always wanted to kind of make it look like yours but with my own twists. Should be done in a few years.

I like the look of it but i haven't really been able to enjoy it and won't until spring and summer. Yes, Adam at Area1320 did it.

The roof vent looks neat. Does it produce a good amount of airflow in the car when you're driving?

nissamax 01-06-2010 02:30 PM

do u have to worrie about it leaking? and can i ask where u purchased it from.

I only had it open the night i took it home from the shop so far because its so cold out. It was pretty good. I'd say better than a sunroof even though it's smaller because of it being open towards the front and not the back. Only thing i worry about is bugs in spring and summer. I don't want to driving on 22 or 33 and a bee slams into my face and i freak out like a girl on the highway haha. Even worse a spider, i hate spiders with a passion ever since my friend put one on my face at a sleepover when i was younger.

I'm not sure about it leaking as i didn't wash it yet. I'm sure it doesn't. I'll let you know when i wash it in a few weeks. I bought the roof vent from Japanparts.com. It was like $478 shipped. Crazy, but i wanted it really bad because its kinda rare. If you think about it too, its color matched to your car so it kinda works out to that if i had to paint it.

I was considering it because I was tempted to take out my AC....then I remembered...I have a worthless Subaru sunroof and can't use this.

i never noticed the sunroof on your car. I only saw it in person once at that one cruise night in the northampton crossings. I'd take out the AC anyways, just don't sell the parts in case you ever want to change your mind

nonsense.. just buy a new roofskin from Subaru. Bring it here and we'll install it :) then you can sell your sunroof to someone and profit $$
