Pulled over by 5 cops... Over a phone call.
 

So apparently while driving down rt100 someone called the police saying i was driving aggressively, which i can certainly say i wasn't. Apparently a officer got the call then saw me go up a right lane which ended and pull ahead of some cars ( the cars were stopped at red light i had a slight running start- I wasn't speeding and didn't cut anyone off) He then follows me down a road apparently clocking me at 66 in a 35, again i know for a fact i wasn't speeding. Within about 30 seconds four other cops arrive. After about 30 minutes of waiting and watching the cops laughing at my expense. I get two tickets... The cop said i got a phone call saying someone saw your car drive aggressively and im going to believe them and he gives me a ticket for following to closely. Next ticket is 66 in a 35 in which another officer gives me but said he knocked it down to 45 in a 35 yet i see that nowhere.... now for clocking me they wrote other and wrote V-Spec?

So after getting the tickets, they then go after my tint and exhaust. I have 20% percent tint. They let me go with the tint.

Regardless 5 officers because of a phone call. Really?

got pulled over by 3 cops cause a lady said i cut her off when i had to change lanes cause someone pulled out in front of me. they just searched my car and let me go idk.

when i was stationed in san diego, and first got my eg civic, i got pulled over and had guns drawn, cause someone reported my car stolen.

never found out who made the call, but, i was told it was called in a stolen car tip hotline or something by the cop.

haha also have been surrouned by 6 cop cars cause me and a few friends with taken pics of our car, the cops said we were doing burnouts and offroading lol bunch of hondas

whats the v spec?

Maybe those cops think all sporty cars are V-spec or type r?

I'm going to start calling the cops on the following:

-Old people who drive way too slow to be on the road
-Anyone who doesn't use a turn signal
-People who are too pussy to make the left turn, thus holding up traffic

My boyfriend was pulled over in his old car for "doing doughnuts". He said to the cop, "My car is FWD so unless you believe I have enough skill to be doing them backwards, that's implausible".

If they were following you and then hit you for speeding, I would assume it was visual since they can look at their guages and follow at the same pace.

You could argue that speedos have an average percentage of error. Add 2 cars in the mix and it could be 5-10MPG off. Granted it is a weak arguement, but does have some grounds.

In the end, you have 20% tint and an exhaust. What did you think the cops were going to do, be extremely nice?

but in the end take that sh*t to court, see if the lady shows up, if she does, get her license plate # and call in wreckless driver complaint as she pulls out of the court house:-p

phone call that probably was made while the person was driving.. of which.. is illegal in the state of nu joisee....

I would have reported the extra police on site to the township supervisor. Waste of township tax dollars.
