I found this haunted house site, and it says that you have to sign a waiver before you go in because the actors are allowed to touch you or something. I'm trying to see if anyone here has been there or knows somebody who has to see if it's worth the drive/ticket amount.

These are the rules, just for an example of how good it sounds.

RULES:

1. STAY ON THE MARKED PATH AT ALL TIMES.

2. YOU WILL BR PROMPTED TO DO CERTAIN ACTIONS,
(i.e. "sit down", "stop", "move forward")
PLEASE DO EXACTLY AS YOU'RE TOLD. THIS IS FOR YOUR SAFETY.

3. DO NOT EVER TOUCH THE ACTORS.

4. DO NOT EVER TOUCH THE WALLS.

5. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SPEAKING ALLOWED INSIDE.
YOU CAN, HOWEVER, SCREAM AS LOUD AS YOU'D LIKE.

6. YOU MUST WEAR A PROTECTIVE MASK
AND CARRY A FLASHLIGHT AT ALL TIMES.
(we will provide both of these items for you. please do not bring your own.)

7. YOU MUST WALK TRHOUGH ALONE.

9. If you have an emergency while walking through the house
and need to be escorted out, please yell the word “SAFETY”
as loud as you can. Stay where you are, remain calm,
and someone will come to get you.



Please be aware, you will encounter:
FOG
STROBE LIGHTS
COMPLETE DARKNESS
CRAWLING
GRAPHIC SEXUAL and EXTREMELY VIOLENT SITUATIONS



If you have any medical condition that may prevent you from
participating in the haunted house, we strongly suggest
you heed your doctor’s advice
and stay away.

What's the fun in that? Plus it specifically says not to bring your own gear.

Man, I wana know if it's good or not. There's gota be someone here whose heard of it.

my friend went with his gf. they said this place was pretty horrible. they make you walk alone cause they dont want anyone to prove theyre touching you a lot. acting apparently was crappy too. headless horseman hayrides is 50x better according to them. he actually went back and hit one of the actors for grabbing his gf "inappropriately" multiple times.

I bet it's all hype an alot of garbage, no haunted house is ever good.

headless horseman is actually good its rated in the top haunted houses for the past few years

I've been but all that stuff just makes me laugh inknowkpeople enjoy it but not me.

its worth it to see it but its just not one of those things thats going to impact you for life. if you want creepy/life changing ill find the link of a bunch of TRULY haunted places :mrgreen:

I slept over at by erry before it was tore down and have done all the "haunted" stuff around here so that's why I laugh but yeah it's all kinda fun in it's own way.

Yeah I was thinking about why they were making people go in alone, I figured that could be a reason too. I kinda doubt that a hayride is ever going to be scary, they always suck. Unless that's just the name of the place.

they take you out on a hay ride at first, then you have to find your way back through a massive corn maze, and then theres like 6 other haunted houses. in total theres 7 things you do. it takes 2-3 hours to finish everything lol. my brother litterally pissed himself slightly at one point lmfao. makeup is done insanely, and so are the sets. this isnt one of those stupid little ones you see with volunteer actors who suck these people are paid and have to go through tryouts and auditions to get the spot. my sisters friend actually does makeup and some prop stuff for them. ive seen some of his stuff in person and i have to say its sick not just because i know who he is but because he truely does good work.

i personally think its better then most trailers for horror movies

That place doesn't look bad, but it's also 3 hours away. The other one's only 1 hour and 20 minutes for me.

3 out of the 5 years its been in the top 13 it was ranked 1
i met a girl from new mexico there... people that are into this stuff come from all over. pa, md, ohio, virginia, jersey, new england... thats just the most common places. rob has said someone from pretty much every state came there. except hawaii and alaska. if you walk through the parking lot you'll see about half are ny plates the rest are scattered from other states.

Do you by any chance know what the prices are? I don't see anything on the site.

oh make reservations. gets busier as it gets closer to halloween so this weekend and halloween weekend are going to be packed.
