Say hello to the new guy!

Hello ladies and gents. I wanted to throw an introductory post up in here to let you all know that if you guys have any questions regarding appointments, parts, status of cars being worked on, or anything else I'll be handling all of that to help keep Ryan and Drake busy working on cars.

So feel free to PM me, call, or talk to me on AIM. My name's Zack and most likely I'll be the one you'll be talking to unless it's a technical issue I can't help with and I'll shoot it over to Ryan.

For AIM I can be reached @ the standard: TheArea1320 :cyberguy:

If you need to contact me outside of shop hours just send a PM and I'll get back to you promptly.

I also wanted to let everyone know that I will be updating the website with lots of content including customer rides, project cars, and much more so keep a look out for that.

Sweet! I'm glad to see Area1320 growing. Its been awesome watching Area1320 grow from the ground up. I will never forget August 27th 2006 the day I found Area1320 was 10 minutes from my house. mmm BBQ and fender rolling. :)

Ryan has been taking advantage of my compulsive buying habit ever since. :o

Anyone remember thursday night meets? The spaceship?

ehh whatever

Welcome Zack!

welcome man! Glad to see the shop growing. Now I just need that raise to start giving Ryan more busy work ;) Awesome shop, keep it up. You know its good when I drive an hour and a half to have work done ;)

Zack@Area1320 11-05-2009 08:17 PM

Rofl... this happened RIGHT behind the shop:

It was epic, I heard the cops taking the guys down. Like easily 15+ cop cars including NJ troopers, Easton cops. It was glorious.

Zack,it's awesome that you're on board now at Area1320, Ryan is getting more and more reasons to be less cranky, not having to run to the phone every time someone wants to know a price quote or whats up with their car (BAJA lol) must be a huge relief to him. Keep up the good work Z. A happy Ryan is the best kind to have. Jess, Frankie & Zack good things come in threes.

Since we're all reminicing about our first experiences with Area1320...
I remember going to the Cedar Crest Applebees TST meet for the first time. Ender81, then just a member (huh huh) no super moderator status, tells me about "this guy who can fix any Subaru issue" The baja had a bad open ecu tune on it at the time and was driving me nuts.
I'm introduced to Ryan, at the bar, Corona in hand, after a few minutes he agrees to take the Baja for a spin to see what the issue is.
Two minutes into the drive his diagnosis is "Whoa, thats not right!"
He's been my go-to Subie guy ever since.

I remember the epically hot summer time temperatures and the f$cking cold temperatures during teh winter at teh old shop... everyone cuddling around a the bazooka heater (no homo) or when the kerosene heater was running, everyone getting high off the fumes... hahahaha

Zack@Area1320 11-06-2009 01:23 AM

Yeah I was straddling the bazooka heater today lol... it still gets cold! PS: I look forward to seeing you guys at Toys 4 Tots on Sunday. Ryan can't make it so I'll be repping the 1320.

drifty240 11-06-2009 06:53 AM

I was just talking about that to someone the other day. We'd all be sitting in the folding chairs around the heater waiting for Dominos to show up.
