I havent saved a single penny since I bought it.

DPancoast 10-11-2009 02:54 PM

When I fix one thing, something else breaks.

My trans is retarded.

Parts are EXPENSIVE sometimes because its a 91...

Other than that, its just apart of being a car enthusiast. I wouldnt trade my experience thus far for the world.

There's absolutely NOTHING on it that's cheap to fix or maintain.

The doors are so heavy that they try to squash me every time I get in or out of the car.

Every time it rains, I have to clean the inside of my driver and passenger windows. Those windows roll themselves up/down just a little bit each time the doors are opened and closed -- so the days that it's raining, dribble-dribble, rain-drip streaks down the insides of the windows.

I can't take it anywhere without suffering mild panic attacks that something's going to happen to it -- which has only intensified since a construction sign fell on it a couple weeks ago.

People look at me funny when I get into and out of it, even moreso than they did when I owned my MSP.

-Takes me about 1 1/2 hours to do spark plugs
-Tranny needs to be stronger and its a 3-5k fix
-Engine bay looks sloppy and is impossible to tuck
-And Because its a Subaru some call it a Scooby doo (think this one bugs me the most )

I wish I bought a wagon... I wish I would've added a turbo by now!

Otherwise I'm thrilled.

And I like the Escape for the most part. The seats are really uncomfortable, imho! Wifey loves them, go figure!
