is this a really tight course, or is there fairly long straights on the runway of the old airfield?

Courses are usually changed up every event, so you won't know until you come out on the day of the event.

bronxbomber252 10-01-2009 09:14 PM

there wont be too long of straights since it is autox... don't expect to get above 60

TROLL 10-01-2009 09:21 PM

Warminster is one of the faster more open courses out there though... depending on how fast they set up the slalom you could break 60 for sure. But of course the focus is on the turns in auto-x. Warminster is a great location though.

And I'd be there in the bugeye... need to squeeze in a little bit more rear fender work to completely rid myself of any rubbing with the newer fatter tires though.

I have hit 50mph at an event before and my car is slow as balls.

TROLL 10-01-2009 09:59 PM

I spun at 70 two years ago at the end of the front straight... but I guess that means 70 might have been just a littttle too fast
