96 Civic, lost my turn signals and cannot fix problem HELP

OK my girl has a 96 Civic and the turn signals stopped working.

Ive checked/swapped the following:

Turn signal fuse
Turn signal relay
Turn signal switch located on the column

The Relay makes a crackeling sound when turned on, I cannot figure out this problem.

Let me know what you think, thanks in advance.

thats a commen problem that happens when a ammiture hooks up a radio in a ek. next thing that happens is you loose turn signals. have a pro wire up the radio and a guarentee you get your signals back. dont ask me why or how but ive seen this problem many times in our shop

Test for voltage before and after the relay.

Do the indicators on the cluster blink?

No blinkers inside or out.

Fixed the problem, you pointed me in the right direction. The 4 way harness was loose, reason being the previous owner jammed the stock head unit back in place and loosened the wires. THANKS
