What happens when you put a dumb ass behind the wheel of a dump truck? *PICS inside**

Happened yesterday at our shop. Work crew came out to repave our driveway...as soon as the pulled in and turned around, they snagged a telephone poll wire and pulled down 2 poles. Needless to say, they didn't get to pave our driveway. Total bunch of morons...

Luckily PECO was out last night fixing it. We're back up and running today. Unfortunately I lost a half day of business and had to do a couple installs in the neighbors parking lot. :(

Accidents happen all of the time. At least the driver didn't kill anyone.

Or when electric power wire guys throw lines up at low levels.

While I agree, they should have spotted the low wires, it could have been much worse. GOod thing no body got hurt.

True dat! I've seen some pretty dumb **** on the job site.

What's worse is a operator claiming they have it under control, then 2 scoops later watching the wall collapse and a shed sink. :bigeek:

power lines being knocked over really sucks especially when it delays your business, but you should see the commotion when a dump truck tips.. that's what i thought happened when i read the thread title. it happens more often then you'd think right down the street from where i work. there's a quarry about a quarter mile away and there's a steady flow of dump trucks all day long. when making a turn at the stop light, sometimes you get some idiot driver who forgets he's got a full load and turns too sharp, too fast and flips the damn thing. it happened four times in one week about a year ago. it's quite a mess haha.
