There are tons of people having issues with Snow Leopard. Mostly issues with Adobe Products and printers.

immediately after install my wifi was screwed up. I read the posts about creating another location, but that didn't fix my problem. I assume SL changed some config setting of my modem/router because it effected my fiance's dell as well. we could connect to teh netowrk but we were blocked from every site except yahoo. which i think is because when i installed SL, the dell was on a yahoo page?

second problem i have is with the adobe suite. programs randomly close. Again i read some posts saying to create another user and everything works fine. which is a great work around, but i have too much saved on my other profile, that swapping over would be more of a pain then wiping and re-installing. So far though, i created a new profile, opened some adobe software, worked on some stuff, then logged in under my original profile and the problem seems to have gone away, but i'm not to sure.

SL does not have the ability to change your router settings. I think there is more going on with that.

i wouldn't think so either, i just don't know what else would have done that? I made no other changes and the problem happened immediately after SL install. I was able to work around it by adding my airport extreme to the network, which was not on the network prior to the SL install.

I don't understand how prior to SL install DELL and MAC both were able to surf the web freely, immediately after we could only go to yahoo and google search (but no other site would load, it would time out)

I haven't had too many issues. I got 14gb or so back after the install. The only thing i can think of is that stuff seems to be a bit laggy, but I haven't done a clean install on this thing ever so it may be about time.

Adobe hasn't given me any problems, but I am still running CS2 with Rosetta

Don't be too fooled about "getting space back". You didn't really gain anything as I understand it. The system is now reporting HDD size as what it is advertised instead of what it actually has. (1tb hdd does not really have 1024gb available, but your OS will now tell you it does). Instead of calculating hard drive space in base 2 (like every computer out there), it calculates in base 10 now!

you should have gotten a liger, they're cooler than snow leapords

i'm still investigating the whole hackintosh thing...

just disappointed and frustrated i have to spend my time resolving issue when i could be making money instead.

I'll give it a week and if there are no solutions i will be wiping and starting fresh with leopard.
