Thank you. Yes, fully built motor, trans, twin disc, aluminum drive shaft, etc. Off to the dyno in a week or so. I'll need to have the cage finished off. It's currently an 8 point. We won't be able to turn the boost up until the cage is finished and i have a fire suit and probably a license. It's a street driven car set up to run on E85 which is readily available where i live. If you're interested i can keep you updated on the dyno results.

Take care...Dave

What dyno do you plan on using?

Unsure as of yet. We were at Verocious recently and my buddy had some problems with their dyno. We weren't sure if it was the dyno or his car. I'm looking for another reputable shop. As of right now, it looks like we'll be trailering the car to Turbotrix. If you have any suggestions regarding local, reputable AWD dyno's i'm all ears.

Thanks...Dave

I heard all about the verocious visit from Steve. Have you checked out JC auto where spendone (asian matt) works out of? They are in penndel which is closer then turbotrix. I guess it's worth contacting them to see whats up. I would also contact petey turbo who works out of krazy house customs.
let me know what you decide if you don't mind. I'd like to meet up with you guys there possibly.

I need to talk to Steve and Matt and we'll figure out which shop we'll end up going to. I'll see if we can bring anybody along. A lot of places frown on having a crowd unless it's a dyno day. I'll keep you posted.

It's no big deal. I know if its matt or petey's place they won't mind. I just figure if your going somewhere close i would meet up and video your runs/check out the car.
thanks

Matt, I'll get in touch with you. Riding my modded ZX10r has gotten back into the need for speed. Sorry to hear you sold your car.

Take care...Dave

Thanks a lot. I love my 93. I've owned it for 10 years. Lots of good times and plenty of headaches !

Heard that. I've owned three of non-turbos, but finally found a turbo car clean enough to fit my standards. Owning a DSM has definately been a learning experience though, I'm about 2/3 of the way through my first clutch job, and I could barely change oil two years ago. Good luck with the car, can't wait for results.

Thanks for the compliment. As far as goals, we'd like to see 650-700 + awhp. Race weight is right around 2900 lbs. with driver and 3 gallons of fuel. Our goal would be high 9's but i've seen plenty of cars with 9 second parts run 10's-12's due to the difficulty of launching and driving a high powered AWD. We're being realistic as far as our initial goals. In the beginning we're just hoping to get the car down the track in one piece !! We believe that with a lot of seat time and tuning we MAY have a chance of attaining these goals. If not, we'll have a lot of fun trying, and that's what it's really all about.

Take care...Dave
