Misleading thread titles FTL. He smashed the RWD record... the REAL record is something like 10:02 seconds set by the Suzuki :). But regardless, the Genesis kicked ass considering it rear tires were no longer lol

what car did he use to set the previous RWD record? A boat?

Okay but thats apples to oranges. Your talking AWD VS RWD on a DIRT course. Without a doubt there is gonna be a time difference.

not a 2 minute difference though.

It was the AWD and overall record. He was beaten in 07 by Tajima driving a Suzuki. Tajima finished 3 seconds faster. Millen's record stood for 13 years though...pretty damn good!

I never compared AWD to RWD. I said the RWD record is 12 minutes and the fastest ever is 10 minutes... which happens to be AWD. By the way, the entire course isn't dirt.

Regardless, AWD or RWD, dirt or tarmac, the Genesis did great for rocking steel belts for half the course ;).
