that really made no sense. i answered all the questions as myself and got 41% yankee. i then cleared and reset and answered all the questions as a wisconsinese person. i lived in WI for two years and most of my family and a few friends live there. the answers were completely opposite from my PA answers and i still got 45% yankee. i guess that makes sense if you were to only split the country in two, but why would you? midwest dialect and common language is drastically different than the east coast. in fact, it's so different, that it's easy to see that the poll was really off. the descriptions under each answer were (most of the time) not even close to the common language that i've heard in different areas.

i know i know, it's just a dumb poll. i'm being very critical. i'm just sayin'...

Each time I clicked "compute", it gave me a different % of Dixie, until it finally reached 100%. Clearly, completely BS. :D

I thought this thread was completely different. lol. I clearly have a Overbrook/Upper Darby/Delco-Italian accent.... And I really really get pissed off when I hear a real thick Delco, Northeast/Bucks, or Jersey accent... makes me want to punch people in the face.
