2003 A6 2.7T tell me things
 

My friend just test drove one today and REALLY liked it. He wants to buy it this week. Now Im aware that these are good cars and there is much u can do to them. Also, AWE is right near my friends church. The car seems to be in great shape and has 48k on it. Its tiptronic cuz he's not a manual guy. but he does want to do some mods to it.

Tell me the good things about this car. Good things to do to them, places to take them etc...

Also, I am aware of some problems with these cars. Some regarding the turbos and others too. But i dont know much other than that there are problems. Can someone tell me some specifics in this area.

He really likes the car, as do I. But I dont want him to buy it unless he knows the bad stuff as well.

They are great cars. A Unitronic software flash will make a night/day difference. Modifications are a little on the expensive side for most, compared to what they're used to but overall they are fun cars. As you mentioned, replacing the turbos is a big, costly job that requires the removal of the motor. The tiptronic transmission has its flaws but its an automatic, so that's to be expected.
