Cleanneon's Cruise Nites: Bi-Weekly *CRUISE 1 complete*
 

Summer is here, so let's get cruisin.

I've decided to start up what I call "Cleanneon's Cruise Nites", these will be a good opportunity for car guys to meet each other, talk about cars, drive, and have a good time. Here is how it will work.

Cruises will be held bi-weekly most likely on Friday nights. We will start in a fairly central location that you will PM me for and proceed to drive on fun roads to get to a final destination, the routes and destinations will change but I may mix & match or repeat some every now and then. Starting time will be at around 7PM. There will be 1 pit stop per cruise.

The rules:
1. Faliure to attend without notice will result in suspension from 2 following cruises.
2. Hostility towards others in the group or others on the road will result in permanent suspension. No tailgating, no passing, no driving in opposing traffic, if you have to ask yourself what is acceprable or not, you shouldn't go. We are out to have safe fun, not to cause accidents and get tickets.

How it will work:
1. The cap of cars per cruise will be 6 (myself included), passangers are welcome and unlimited as long as everyone has a seatbelt.
2. If you wish to become a "leader" and take on leading a second group of cars (5 more), let me know ahead of time so I can give you the route. Groups (if applicable) will leave locations in 5 minute increments to avoid crowding.
3. Cruises will not have more than 2 groups (depending on the route, they may only have 1).
4. If bad weather strikes, cruise will be moved to following Friday.

Signing up:
PM me with your name and number, car make and model, and number of passangers to get on the list. Phone number will be used to text in case cruise is cancelled due to weather. If you phone doesn't take texts, let me know and I'll call.

Registration will close at 9PM the day before the cruise, if the cruise gets moved due to weather, I will let everyone know by the early afternoon on the day of the cruise. PLEASE BE READY TO DRIVE, THAT MEANS HAVE GAS, USE THE BATHROOM, AND EAT AND DRINK BEFORE YOU COME

Disclaimer:
These cruises will have an enthusiastic pace, if you doubt yourself as a driver, or your car, stay back or ride as a passanger with someone else. I, nor anyone else in the group be responsible for any accidents that may occur, it is your responsibility to be safe. Don't try to drive as fast as the guy ahead of you, go at your own pace and have a good time. Make sure to leave safe distance between cars.

Cruise 1 - Complete

When: Friday, July 3rd. Meet at 11pm, PM for location.
Destination: New Hope, River Road, misc on the way there/back
Length: Approximately 80 miles start to finish + more if we decide to eat afterwards.
Type: Moderately technical, a good mix of straight and curved roads, with tight as well as wide turns.
Conditions: Roads are fairly well paved, no large imperfections I can think of along the way. Low-car friendly.

I was wondering if anyone was doing anything tonight. Being how nice it is I love to take the car for a cruise. Being the next few days are going to suck. I wouldn't mind doing this. I am however going over a buddies house shortly to wash my car off and hopefully can make this.

These are pretty twisted roads...how does your car handle?

Nicely done, I would like to go on a cruise or two. I will sign up for a cruise or to lead one. I'm not sure what dates I can cruise just yet, but I will let you know.

My goal right now is to figure out a destination and route for the first cruise. I may do new hope again with a dinner stop somewhere at the end.

If it happens it happens, just don't drive like a douche and you cut your chances of an accident by about 99.99%

Alex depending on the road i might be able to run the second group, I also have 10 mile walkie talkies (not the cheap kind) that we can use to communicate between the groups. So let me know asap

Hey sorry about last night but I got tied up in things. By the time I was done the car it was way later then I expected. I am interested in doing this for next Friday as long as the weather holds up. After completing my upgrade last week the car handles pretty good for what it is. However how crazy are you guys driving? If you guys are doing 80mph+ 90 degree turns then I may not be able to do that. I will give it a shot and to be wise I will just be the last one in the group.
