careless driving with no points?
 

i got a careless driving and i already pleaded guilty and paid for it. it was $119.50. the cop said when he issued the ticket that there would NO points. is that true? can he really waive the points on the spot? he was wearing a white uniform so im guessing he was a sgt. by the way this was in philly.

what was the statue number he cited for, the citation might have been for you being careless but he might have cited you as disobeying a traffic control device which carries no points

i believe its 3714

3714 is careless driving and does carry 3 points. Im not sure how he could have gotten PennDOT to waive the points.

i found out they gave me 3 points! another question, can i go to court on the court date even if i pleaded guilty and paid the fine? because i can't afford to have points.
