if you guys go to neshaminy mall...

id be careful with your cars.
a few friends and i went to see the hangover at 940 last night in my girls escort, and came out to find all her doors unlocked, and MY gps gone.
i know she shouldnt have kept it in the window, and i ALWAYS remind her to take it down, but the one time you slip up, this is what happens.
after we had cops come, they had us go to the station and the detective dusted for prints. they were really helpful, and the reason they did this was because 5 other cars got broken into, so they and we, are hoping they got a good print.
just letting you guys know to be careful. i rarely bring my car to the mall at night, and i was going to last night but my girl talked me out of it. ironic.
and btw everything else was rummaged through, nothing else taken that we know of but its just hard to grip that someone was in YOUR car. ive had 3 cars, one got stolen and others were broken into 3 times. itll freak anyone out, especially my girlfriend.

just trying to give a heads up everyone.
sorry if this isnt car related enough, if i posted in the wrong section, sorry, please move it for me.

bastards. sucks that its such a common thing these days. Sorry for the GPS gone missing.

215ek 06-07-2009 11:56 AM

thanks man.
and they said the report was 3 black guys running around the lot trying door handles.
but they think they had a slimjim or something, because we KNOW we alllll locked the doors

people are such scum these days. someone tried breaking into a friends car a few nights ago, dude learned the hard way and will prob never break into another car ever again. they happen to catch him and then after a little scuffel, they repeatly smashed his hands in the car doors and then left him there.

Erik 06-07-2009 02:02 PM

thats****ing badass.

somebody also tried to break into my car last night. However this was at home. They must have gotten spooked, or possibly my neighbors dog started barking and they ran off. The window molding was popped off and looked like they tried to flex the frame with a screwdriver...luckily for me, they did not succeed in getting inside.

i will smash somebody if I catch them breaking into my car. Not that there is all that much to take, it's just the point.

JSpecV03 06-08-2009 10:56 AM

dude i would do far far worse than just smash someone....they will be hating life really quick, glad nothing serious happened though

215ek 06-08-2009 10:57 AM

yea its just ****ty having someone else in your car that you worked hard for.
and were thinking about next weekend sitting in a car and leaving a buddys unlocked, and well sit and watch late at night, while the movies are packed

civichx97 06-08-2009 11:03 AM

that really sucks but at least nothing else was stolen...I used to have an old 87 escort that got broken into at my HIGH SCHOOL. Honestly there was nothing worth anything whatsoever in the car but that doesn't stop some a-holes from messing with someone else's property just because they can. Hope they catch them. Good luck!

lownslow95 06-08-2009 11:08 AM

Hope you catch these assholes. I haven't been to that mall in a long ass time.

the best trick is have a couple cars come, have 2 people per car, all you would need is like 2 or 3 of them. position them stragically in the parking lot and stay outa sight. then once one of your 2 man teams ID's someone breaking into, engage the target. closest car first then followed by 2nd closest and so on.

well i'm done complaining about someone "trying" to break into my car. I posted a status rant on Facebook and then my friend texted me and her car actually did get stolen last night. Though I live in Somerton (5 min from Neshaminy mall) and she lives near Rhawn and the Blvd.

I am seriously considering just buying a reliable car and doing nothing at all to it. I've had 4 different cars in my 12 yrs of driving and 3 of them have been broken into. My current car is a turdbox, but with the tint and very few aftermarket goodies i DO have, they might have assumed i had a system or something. douchebags.
