too much DOF at f2, doesn't really work for most of the shots

see the part that doesn't have crazy blur? Thats where the focus is. Sorry but thats a really dumb statement. You can definitely tell where the focus is, if you don't like crazy DOF I can understand that, but you can't argue that you don't know where the focus is.

No need to say thanks, its the truth, his comment was dumb. DOF is all about taste but to say you cant tell where the focus point is? Now thats just plain silly.

i know. i said thanks because i wanted to stay out of it since my temper would've gotten the best of me, ha
