The Official Delaware Area Bi-Weekly Meet Thread v1.0

Next meet is:

Thursday, March 29, 2012
7:00 PM

Location:

Stewart's Brewing Co.

219 Governor's Square
Bear, DE 19701

Some meet details and information. Please read:

This meet is primarily a dinner meet, but based on the location that isn't always true. Stewart's is a bar/microbrewery which is great for those that don't want to eat. You can come in and grab a beer, hang out with everyone, and catch some sports on the TV's.

Most of the usuals do, in fact, show up at, or before 6:30 even though the meet time is posted as 7pm. So those that are available feel free to come early. Those who choose to eat (the majority of attendees) routinely get done and come back outside to the cars by about 8:30pm. Obviously this can vary by 10-15 minutes but that has been the trend.

**Please feel free to post of PM me with any questions if you need further details about the locations, times, or the meet in general.

These are our locations:

Chik-Fil-A
1101 Quintilio Drive
Bear, DE 19701

**Disclaimer**
MATURE behavior is expected at all times. There is simply no reason to rev engines, do burnouts, street race, or attract any unwanted attention to our group. We are all adults and if things need to be proven that is what the track is for. So if you decide to come out please act accordingly.

hey man sorry about me not making it out last time. I was busy with Grad school stuff. Anyway I am really trying hard to hopefully have my car ready and together by the end of this coming week. Also with it being done I will definitely be ready to come out for some meets so count me down for this one and both places are good for me.

No doubt.

All the guys that come right now are all very mature. We have never had any problems. But then again us Suby guys are pretty down to earth  (jk).

As long as others that decide to come by don't ruin a good thing we'll be fine.

No worries. I wasn't able to make it to the last one (April 29, I was there Wednesday though- May 13), because of the end of the semester, and all the work I have to do, so I know exactly how it is.

Class ends before the next meet included finals, so I'll be attending regularly throughout the summer.

tallhamer88 05-15-2009 10:11 PM

Im down. Just let me get a final thing on the Location.

jordanretro1223 05-16-2009 12:29 AM

Location will be updated soon. The last meet occurred this past Wednesday, May 13 so there's still time, two weeks, till the next one so it'll be up with plenty of time.

dave2610 05-16-2009 06:57 PM

is it always on a wednesday?

jordanretro1223 05-17-2009 02:29 AM

Yep, every other Wednesday.

That may change too but I look at it as a middle of the week treat. Most people often have plans for Fridays and Saturdays so I feel the middle of the week is a good time.

You forgot to mention the asshattery only happens when I show up. And I think I'm the old man of the group too ...

No doubt.

It's bi-weekly so it'll be going on the rest of the summer...

I'm down for some BWW. Haven't been there in WAY too long.

location is a little far. Middletown sound like a good all around spot. Its right in the middle of the state so people from north or sound can travel the same amount of distance compare to the location in Bear.

We've had this debate numerous times on NASIOC, bear/newark seems to work best for everyone. We have people that come up from Dover and even further south.

piknockout 05-18-2009 11:18 AM

Being in Bear/Newark I'm sure you get a lot more people from MD, PA, NJ than you would people from Dover if you were to have it in Middletown. My $0.02 FWIW.
