Recall on 2010 Camaros
 

So apparently there is a recall on all V8 2010 Camaros.

"A product safety recall has been issued for certain sold 2010 Chevy Camaros (V8 engine only). The recall is necessary because of a potential shorting problem with the starter making contact with an exposed battery positive starter cable"

Ouch.

thank god my dad bought his challenger first, hopefully they'll fix this within a month for when he gets his 'maro.

I really dont like any american cars aside from 60's and 70's muscle cars... BUT.....All manufactures have recalls..

lol like the wheel balance weights they were sticking on the brake calipers to reduce vibration lol

When the recall comes out a year after the car has been out its a problem, but brand new cars always have a few recalls the first 3 months. Its when they enter the real world and not a test track problems poke their head out.

That's why you shouldn't jump on these things, let the other be the test dummies.

it happens. as long as they fix it, it's nothing to jump down their throats about. nothing is ever perfect.

That's why I have never and never will buy a new platform the 1st year it's released. I'd rather all the bugs worked out 1st.
