why me....f'n thieves
long story short... today i was so siked, about three hours ago. i would've been hearing the sweet sound of four itb's breathing fresh air into a built blacktop 4age ae86. no its not mine, but a good friend. since back when i owned my old hachi, he has always wanted one of these. with the little time i had, i have manage to put one together for him. until about three hours ago when i confirmed my worst fear. the blacktop ecu which runs a map sensor instead of a flap styled maf was stolen out the car. what make this worst it only could have happen when i was around.
the ecu can be replaced, but my trust in people just went down a notch. anytime anybody comes down to my shop, i have alway welcomed them with open arms. that wont change, but from now on i may just have to be a little more vigilant. as for the culprit, i have my thoughts on who it can be. lets just put it this way, there wont be any video's on youtube... |

That sucks. I know how you feel, I had a run in with thieves last Friday. Walked out of my dorm to go for a bike ride and... no bike. Hope you figure out who it was and get your stuff back.

the ecu was for a ae101 fwd trueno. the 4age that comes in this chassi is normally refered to as blacktop. so we use the engine of one of these fwd toyotas then we stuff them on a rwd ae86. the cylinder head was desined by yamaha and comes with a set of stock itb's, vvt, and 20 valves.
either way i just got of the phone with this guy i know. and gonna be shipped out this morning |
