Finally decided to sign up ...

Just stopping to say "Hi." Went to the Verocious meet yesterday and figured I'd sign up on the forums here and keep an eye out for more local meets this summer.

At any rate, was good to meet a few of you guys yesterday!

Ha! Yeah, that's me. Just working to spread my disease around a bit. The car made 406HP and 350TQ. Was pretty much what I expected on their dyno, but it was running obnoxiously rich. I'm planning to make another trip to my tuner for some adjustments there and to clear out the CEL so I can pass inspection. I might switch to stand alone engine management, not quite sure yet.

Appearance wise, just the stillen front splitter and 19" Axis Hiro wheels.

The car was tuned by Dave @ FunctionTUNED in Dulles, VA.

Just look for the old nerdy guy with glasses driving an obnoxiously loud Z, that's probably me. Although, I rarely drive it - and when I do, it's usually around the Middletown/Townsend area on the back roads.

Dulles, VA. thats around the area where i picked up my Mazda3 2 years ago and my GTS last year. Did you used to live out in that area? familiar with PTuning?

LOL ... I drive a 1994 Volvo 850 Wagon during the week. My kids have named it "the Doom Wagon."

I'm familiar with them, but I've never lived out there.

So, what do I get for taking the car to work today? A blown header gasket ... awesome.

I think I may have seen that STi a couple of times. I'm usually in the beater or the Odyssey, maybe I'll try to street race 'em ;)

awe man that sux, guess she was telling you 'i'm not made for driving, just for show' lol:mrgreen:

Car vs. Driver 05-13-2009 01:02 PM

My goal was the opposite actually, however the blown gasket is good news really. The codes I'm throwing are related, so once I fix that the car might be ready for inspection.

And I finally scanned my dyno sheet from the Verocious meet. There is definitely room for improvement here based on the AFR ...
